Trainings for Beginners, Professional and Certification Programmes in the V - 3AS IT Scholarsip will hold in the Centre of Excellence (CoEx) in Software Engineering(Supported by the Step-B/World Bank Plc and Skye Bank Plc.), one of the best ICT integrated complexes in the country, at the university's Faculty of Technology.

The Centre of Excellence (CoEx) in Software Engineering was commisioned by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bamitale Omole on the 16th day of July, 2013.

There are five laboratories within the Centre of Excellence and they are: telepresence studio, students' internet access laboratories, software studio, cloud computing centre and hardware design laboratory. The telepresence studio would make it possible for lecturers to deliver lectures to students located in different auditoria, real time. So also are web conferencing interactions with other researchers all over the globe.

The students' internet access laboratory can conveniently accommodate 700 students for internet access, computer-based testing, online certification and so on, in addition to the 500 virtual terminals within the cloud computing centre.

The cloud computing resources consist of the cloud server for applications and operating system as well as cloud storage, which makes it possible to use ICT resources without owning them. The hardware design laboratory is equipped with state-of-the-art hardware equipment for Engineering students at the undergraduate level.
